การเตรียมแปลง ไถดินลึกประมาณ 30 เซนติเมตร ตากดินไว้ประมาณ 7-10 วัน หว่านปูนขาวหรือปูนโดโลไมท์ให้ทั่วแปลงเพื่อปรับสภาพดิน อัตรา 500-1,000 กก./ไร่ ใส่ปุ๋ยคอก/ปุ๋ยหมัก อัตรา 1,000-1,500 กก./ไร่ -ใส่ปุ๋ยสูตร 15-15-15 รองพื้นอัตรา 20-30 กก./ไร่ ไถยกร่องกว้าง 80 เซนติเมตร สำหรับปลูกแถวเดี่ยว ระยะห่างระหว่างแปลงปลูก 1-1.5 เมตร ระยะระหว่างต้น 1-1.2 เมตร คลุมด้วยพลาสติกสองหน้าสีดำ-เงิน โดยสีเงินอยู่ด้านบน การเพาะเมล็ด เตรียมวัสดุเพาะกล้าใส่ถาดหลุม หยอดเมล็ดลงหลุมได้เลย หลุมละ 1 เมล็ด (ควรใช้พีทมอสสำหรับเพาะกล้าโดยเฉพาะ) การดูแลรักษาควรรดน้ำอย่างสม่ำเสมอ อย่าปล่อยให้พีทมอสแห้ง ได้รับแสงแดดเพียงพอ ควบคุมดูแลเรื่องโรคและแมลงที่จะมารบกวน การย้ายปลูก เมื่อต้นกล้าหรืออายุ 8-10 วัน หรือมีใบจริง2ใบ ให้ย้ายลงแปลงปลูก โดยก่อนย้ายลงแปลง ต้องให้น้ำในแปลงปลูกอย่างเพียงพอ ไม่แห้งหรือแฉะเกินไป (แนะนำให้ย้ายในช่วงเย็นเพื่อให้ต้นกล้าฟื้นตัวในช่วงกลางคืน) **หลังย้ายปลูก 7 วัน ควรรีบทำค้างให้ต้นเลื้อยขึ้น การให้ปุ๋ย ปุ๋ยสูตร 25-7-7 เริ่มให้เมื่ออายุได้15วัน อัตรา15-20กก./ไร่ ปุ๋ยสูตร 15-15-15 ในระยะก่อนออกดอก อัตรา 20-30 กก./ไร่ ปุ๋ยสูตร 15-15-15 หรือ 8-24-24 ในระยะที่แตงติดผล ควรใส่วันเว้นวัน อัตรา 20-30 กก./ไร่ การเก็บเกี่ยว ถั่วฝักยาวจะเริ่มเก็บผลผลิตอายุ 45 วัน หรือหลังดอกบาน 4-6 วัน ให้ทยอยเก็บเป็นระยะ ทุกๆ 1-2วัน

Plow and solarize the soil 20-30 cm deep for 7-10 days to eliminate pathogens and pests. Adjust soil pH to 6.0-6.8 with agricultural lime or dolomite if acidic. Incorporate well-decomposed manure or compost (1-2 tons/rai) and mix with balanced basal fertilizer such as 15-15-15.

1. Seedling stage: Water daily and apply high-nitrogen fertilizer (e.g. 25-7-7 or 46-0-0) to promote root and foliage. 2. Vegetative to pre-flowering: Apply balanced 15-15-15. 3.
